In Business for over 30 years
Direct Life was established over 30 years ago to help plug a cap in the protection and pensions space. We no longer deal with pensions day to day but protection is the core of what we do and what we believe in.
In 2001 we introduced LifeQuote to the intermediary market to help advisers sell protection by offering technology solutions and a full administration service. In 2021 the LSL Property Services PLC purchased Direct Life, and in 2025 we closed the chapter on LifeQuote to concentrate on technology for the future. At the same time we ceased providing administration services for D2C aggregator websites. For more information about the closure of our administration services please click here.
Launched in 2024 Direct Life designed and developed a new protection sourcing portal under a new name of Novium. This continues Direct Life’s mission to help provide certainty to financial advisers, and customers alike. You can find out more about Novium here.

Yes, we are covered by the FSCS.
You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim, without upper limit.
